Improving care for people with long term conditions in Harpurhey

Long-term health conditions cannot be cured, but they can often be managed or controlled by some form of medical treatment or by some other form of intervention.

About a quarter of people in Harpurhey are thought to be living with a long-term health condition such as: Hypertension, Obesity, Asthma, Diabetes, Coronary heart disease, Cardiovascular disease, COPD, Chronic kidney disease, Hypothyroidism, Stroke/TIA, Cancer, Epilepsy, Dementia, Mental  Health (including   depression   and   anxiety) - or some other long term condition.

Are you one of them?  Are you caring for someone living with a long-term condition?  Would you or the person you care for consider taking part in a one hour confidential interview to help researchers find out what might help improve the lives of people living with long term conditions?  To find out more contact Patsy Williams on 0161 234 3714 patricia.williams@manchester.gov.uk or Rob Barlow on 0161 205 5143 harpurhey@aol.com
