National Trust Manchester Centre events

National Trust Manchester Centre aims to bring together like-minded people with a programme of social events such as enlightening and entertaining talks during the winter months and day trips to properties and gardens in the summer

Recent excursions have included East Riddlesden Hall, Nunnington Hall, Rufford Old Hall and Plas Newydd. There is an annual lunch for members and other ad hoc events in response to members’ requests.

The Centre is self-supporting and they also raise money for the National Trust from their activities. In recent years they have donated over £5,000 to trust appeals.

The Manchester Centre is run by an elected committee, and they welcome new members as well as fresh ideas.

Membership is £9 per year for a single person or £14 per year for dual membership (two people living at the same address).  (There will be additional charges per event.)
