North City Nomads - Great Days Out for Older North Manchester Residents

Membership to this group is open to residents of North Manchester or those attending social groups and classes across the area.

The group was set up this year with an ambition to reach out to high numbers of older people who would benefit from improved interaction and social connectivity. The project was developed by the North Manchester Age Friendly Locality Networks as a practical way of addressing some of the very profound issue of loneliness amongst older people.

There are now approximately 450 members and the Nomads are set to embark on their second excursion of the year, this time to Llandudno, on 25^th August. A further trip will take place in November to Chester Christmas Markets.
