Intergen is looking for retired people in the Burnage area who would like to volunteer an hour or so a week in a local primary or secondary school. Share your skills and experience with young people and help to break down the generation barriers and give the children a real sense of community.

Current volunteers are helping with a variety of school clubs, offering one to one help with reading and introducing young people to new (or old) skills. Its great fun and offering schools a really important intergenerational experience.
